In Memory of Loving
I just heard the news that Mildred Jeter Loving, one half of the couple represented in the Loving vs. Virginia case died a week ago Friday. She was 68. Since this group was inspired by this case, I thought it was appropriate to say a word of prayer and to keep her and her loved ones in our thoughts. I didn't know much about her or her husband, just that they fought not for a cause but for their love to paraphrase her own words...and in turn, they have given hope to many and continue to inspire.
