    Yes, 'Private Sponsors', could be 1 Option, but also -'Government Funding', could be possible??  Other 'Minority groups', get it, why not us??

    Thanks for getting in touch. I am a Brit too so I know all about Leicestershire! So I like your idea and concept, good for raising awareness..so about getting funding? Well that sounds like somewhat of a tall order but if you feel like you can raise it then amazing! One thing I will say (from experience) is that it might be easier to raise money from the private sector at times like this. However, you may be able to find some NGOs/NFP Orgs. that might be particularly interested in 'Mixy-Meetups'.

    So after last weekend in San Francisco we had such a successful meetup, we believe that this is one direction that we'd like to take this site. We want WAH to host meetups all over the place and all over the world, and of course with a bigger contingent in the UK we could get something really special going on. We have plans to host events in Hawaii, Singapore and I expect a couple more in SF/NYC. As a Brit, I'd love to see an event in London. Before messaging everyone, perhaps you could go through some of the profiles and find out just how many people from the UK are here, then we can see if this is something that could be done sooner rather than later - i.e. when we have more users. We plan to merge the events with music (with Hapa artists) and guest speakers etc. would love to hear your ideas. Hope all is well and look forward to hearing your thoughts.

    I was told by someone to contact you -about setting -up meetings and events.

    What I Hope to do, is to contact ALL the members and ask -them, which dates and venuse, 'd be best.  I Hope, to apply for funds to meet -up, in London.

    I Know, that now, money is 'tight', for the govt. but; I stil l hope to set -up -an Org. called -'Mixy -Mixy Meet -ups', applying for funds, for us to meet -up.

    Can you help me, by contacting ALL the members here an asking, for their best dates and venues??  Esp. London -Mickey.

    P.S.: I live in a County, called -'Leicestershire', which has a strong 'Ethnic' grouping, so meeting -up here, though not as 'glamorous', 'd be brill.
