Wow world is definitively small ! yeah in fact, it is a long story but I am gonna to concise it lol my bf sings but his dream is being songwritter and contacted one day a guy called Jake who introduced him to nashi. We met them and a part of the Avex team last year in Tokyo and this year we supposed to see Nashi again but due to a bad timing, he was only free the day after we left japan.
Nashi? haha yea he was like my first contact in Japan! Small world! He works for Avex and got me my first record placement in Japan on Aria's new album. Been about a year since I saw him but we chat online and through twitter. How do you know Nashi?
I see, I do not know why they love jpop so much it is quite cheezy ;) even we they tried to do some rnb or hip hop it still sounds so pop ;) maybe I have a friend who be abe to help you , its depending of which kind of artists/music you are lookin for, let me know ;) and maybe we I could help you ;) yeaah with pleasure ! ;) the last time I went to LA it was in 94 ... such a long time ! by the way do you know a guy called nashmilions ?
yup in japan it's definitely all jpop (though i'm trying to change it up and bring more american influence). I really really really want to visit Europe so I'm trying to network with some European singers / musicians and see if I can't organize a trip out there. If you know anyone, I would certainly appreciate it =) Obviously if you ever come to LA, hit me up!
naaan kawai kunai ti's shame :) eigo mo pera pera gomen ne ;) it''s great that you can speak japanese fluently and that you didn't forget anything. Ohh ok I knew it ;) I was sure that have already seen your picture somewhere on myspace ;) which kind of music you are actually workin on ? J-pop ? Hope you can visit Europe soon ;)
nanda pera pera dattara zenzen nihongode kaiwa dekirujyan haha. demo yappari i can type faster in romaji than i can with kanji and hiragana. I work in the Japanese music industry but I work remotely from the US. So whenever I visit it's kind of to catch up and shake hands and have meetings with my colleagues. But thanks to skype and email, the world is much smaller. Still, nothing replaces being in the country in which you work and so I am contemplating moving to Japan depending on how things go. Yes Europe and it's ability to take in so many cultures in so little time sounds just amazing. I hope to visit sooner than later =)
sukoshi, pera pera dake ;) yeah quite amazing, Switzerland is a wonderful and beautiful country but quite boring when you living there lol ;) add the thing which is pretty in Europe is less than one our can be in a totally different country ;) ohh that's cool how luck you are ! , I went to Japan two months ago already miss this country ! do you often go to Japan ? I was also wondering if you have ever work in the Japanese music industry ? I think you could do great things over there ! they need talented people like you ! ;) Yeahh I understand this is the reason why I will never go anymore to Japan in Summer ;)
haha nihongo wakaruno? it's going ok. i'd love to visit Europe someday, still haven't been and I hear it's amazing. I'll be back in Tokyo for a visit probably later this year once the summer humidity and heat go away haha.
