Has anyone been contacted yet for a donation?

I was just wondering if anyone on wearehapa has been contacted for a donation. I am certainly ready if they call me anytime.

    Kenji....  Are you referring to an actual bone marrow donation or are you waiting for someone to contact you about getting placed on the registry (i.e., swabbed)?  If it's the latter, I can send you a link about the registration process....

    Okay... Hopefully, you'll become a match for someone in the future....  Has anyone ever told you the probability or time frame that your bi-racial marrow might be needed?

    Nope, but there were news articles in the papers recently saying how there is a shortage of hapa marrow donors. I am a regular blood donor too and am ready to help whenever they need me.

    That is great Kenji, it is soooo refreshing to see people who are so eager to help!  Unfortunately the odds are so slim to find a match, especially us Hapas so it is def not gonna happen overnight.  It does help that you are registered because it does help candidates to help their odds.
