HOW WE DID IT
Jerry has been on the city council for 12 years. He sees an opportunity to win the Mayoral election, but he knew he needed a superior online presence if he wanted to be perceived as a viable candidate.? Goby Creative started this process from scratch and designed his brand from the ground up, starting with brand identity research.
After researching the client’s opponents and interviewing some people in the city, we learned that he would need to be presented as a strong but personable leader to this community. We created multiple logo and styleguide design options that portrayed him in this light. The strategy was balanced on the scales of large bold fonts and “down-home” videos.?
Upon logo approval, we designed and built an online presence that would position his campaign to be more professional, intentional, and meaningful when compared to the other candidates. We decided to integrate his website with an online warehouse that remotely fulfills and ships custom print-on-demand merchandise. We also created a donation infrastructure that allowed users to receive custom gifts for donating certain amounts to his campaign.
Goby Creative managed a WordPress website running the Divi theme. This setup offers a robust environment that we can quickly and easily update the events calendar, create new items in his online store, and publish fresh content about the happenings in the city.
In addition to his online presence, Goby designed and sourced custom billboards, yard signs, drink ware, lanyards, stickers, car magnets, buttons, pens, notepads, shirts, onesies, hats, and other small environmental displays.
