    My speech as a candidate:

"Hello everyone, it seems that I'm nominated for the next member of the week.  I'm feeling honored to be part of the competition with Athena and Diana.  As a member of WAH, I have met many like-minded people.  WAH is a wonderful place to meet other hapas/ mixed Asian.  I remember my very very first thought of WAH when I first visited to this site.  At first I thought it was some kind of a hoax trying to invade my privacy, (chuckles) but I was willing to come back and make this site alive.  As time passed by, WAH evolved into a better shape than before.  More and more hapas are joining this site.  I believe I've made the right decisions by introducing others in local areas or from somewhere on internet to here, though I have some unpleasant experiences with ones who don't want to be part of our community.  Hapas of next generations will look up on us, hear our struggles as hapas, and understand our purpose in making the world a better place.  Our Hapa identity has allowed us to see both Western and Asian worlds as well as their advantages and disadvantages.  No matter what they say about us, we'll NEVER go down without a FIGHT to save the world as long as we have respect to Hawaiian Culture.  We together shall offer blood, toil, tears, and sweat.  Words! Let's show the world what we've made of!"

    Unpleasant experiences?

[Hapas of next generations will look up on us, hear our struggles as hapas, and understand our purpose in making the world a better place.]

Yep, some hapa folk (and there's a nutload of 'em) on Oahu have stared at me a bit. Makes me wonder if they know of my online reputation.

    [Unpleasant experiences?]

Yeh some hapas don't realize we exist.

    Really?

    [Hawaiian Culture eh? LOL!]

What?  Don't Hawaiians hate hapas?  I will need to take Hawaii 101 course, perhaps.
