New Starbust commercial - Is being Korean and Scottish a contradiction?

So I don't know how many of you have seen the new Starbust commercial were they say outright that being Korean and Scottish is a contradiction. Now I know that Starbust and the Mars candy company are known for their weird ass but helpless commercials (Berries and Cream, Berries and Cream!!) but I'm not sure I like how they pass it off as a given. Hell, I think Korea and Scotland have a lot in common. Both have been invaded repeatedly by their neighbors, both have a reputation for loving the drink a bit, and both have slightly feminine native attire (I defy anyone who's worn a Hanbok to not say they felt a little nancified). So what do you guys think, am I reading too much into it or is there an underlying message here.     Lol I had never seen that advert before. Somehow I dont think a Korean-Scot is on the same level as an albino lifeguard (i apologise to any albino lifeguards out there, guard those lives!). I dont think theres an underlying message that hapa's will one day implode because they are too paradoxical, i just think its the advertising company's own ignorance that they have never met a Korean Scot and hence think they dont exist. But i do want some starburst now.



    Oh i think another similiarity might that the scots are FIERCE. During WWI the scottish battalions were known as the ladies from hell by the German troops, because of their kilts and general hardcore-ness.

    The commercial is clearly stating that Scottish Koreans are prime fellatio candidates, so I don't think many would complain.

    I just thought it was a funny commercial...kind of random for sure...my friend sent it to me, since I am half Korean and my boyfriend is from Scotland...i think the point is that there just aren't many Scottish Korean people...or people of Korean decent in Scotland...not that they don't exist...just like there aren't many albino lifeguards...i can agree though that i can see the contradiction of an albino lifeguard more so prolly cuz it's just a little more obvious.
