well sounds like a good plan...kinda good to be open....but don't forget the f4 visa for korea!! where in thailand would you go? i went this past summer and some parts are amazing! my expierence living was good....but i like living abroad.....the job was okay but mainly had to do with the business aspect of  hagwons.....so i want to come back to korea but try and get a job outside of the hagwons..but we will see...if not i am going to try and find a school that seems reasonable. have you been to korea before?

Hey Nina, Yeah you know...I think that may be how it's going to end up, I'm going to buy a one way ticket as soon as I get everything settled here in Hawaii.  I don't want any loose ends while I'm abroad.  So I give the ETA maybe 3-6 months?  I might have an opportunity to be housed in Thailand so if that works, I may even go there first....anywhere in Asia would just be phenomenal ;)  I'm taking it your experience went quite well?

hey chris i think if you were already in korea and looked for a job....your chances are more likely to get hired by someone.....maybe start off with volunteering and look for a job while you were there and see what happens? make sure you get an f4 visa though. that way you are a free agent and not contracted to anyone....when do you think you will go?

Hey Nina, quick question, I'm contemplating on moving to Korea or Japan really soon and I'm either going to volunteer and help out in the farmlands/impoverished areas or try and teach English.  I'm leaning towards Korea because...it is the motherland after all ;)  But I was wondering...how open are the policies when the potential teacher has no degree?  Would you say it's a long shot in the dark or is there potential?

    Thanks ;)
