Chris BHey Nina, Yeah you know...I think that may be how it's going to end up, I'm going to buy a one way ticket as soon as I get everything settled here in Hawaii. I don't want any loose ends while I'm abroad. So I give the ETA maybe 3-6 months? I might have an opportunity to be housed in Thailand so if that works, I may even go there first....anywhere in Asia would just be phenomenal ;) I'm taking it your experience went quite well?

I'll prolly be visiting Pusan (Busan? which one is the true name?which one is the japanese pronunciation?) for my bday (around late jan) gotta meet & hang!! but you're also more than welcome to my place dudette! -

Chris BHey Nina, quick question, I'm contemplating on moving to Korea or Japan really soon and I'm either going to volunteer and help out in the farmlands/impoverished areas or try and teach English. I'm leaning towards Korea because...it is the motherland after all ;) But I was wondering...how open are the policies when the potential teacher has no degree? Would you say it's a long shot in the dark or is there potential?
Thanks ;)

Amie WatanabeThat's awesome you teach english in Korea. I thought about going to Japan to do that through the JET program, but I don't think I have the guts to. Hope you are having a great day!
